Glasses, spectacles, you name it I have been wearing them for decades. My superficial relationship with glasses started in the late eighties following a fantastic episode of the Clothes Show, which featured a segment on some fabulous eyewear. I remember thinking ‘I don’t really need to wear glasses ..….and that’s a shame because they are so hot right now. This was the late eighties, I was about 10 years old and I thought print jumpers with matching sock were cool! *Note to self socks and matching jumpers are never anything but sad!

I don’t know about you, but public transport is a big part of my commuter life. It gets me to work in the morning, and usually on time with only ever a minor hiccup… I am lucky in that I actually get a seat on most mornings, and come rain, snow, or shine my local tram will be operating.

Workwear is changing, it is chic, dynamic and style conscious. In an age where personal brand and professional image are familiar buzz words what you wear to work is becoming more important. However, it is not just about what you wear, but how you wear it. Your personal style and the workplace culture are important considerations when selecting items for your working wardrobe, but how do you reconcile the two? I came up with the idea for this blog as I wanted to illustrate that women do not necessarily fit into one workwear style box, they are diverse and work in a myriad of different work environments.
