Glasses, spectacles, you name it I have been wearing them for decades. My superficial relationship with glasses started in the late eighties following a fantastic episode of the Clothes Show, which featured a segment on some fabulous eyewear. I remember thinking ‘I don’t really need to wear glasses ..….and that’s a shame because they are so hot right now.  This was the late eighties, I was about 10 years old and I thought print jumpers with matching sock were cool! *Note to self socks and matching jumpers are never anything but sad!

Anyway my dream came true during an eye test 1 month later when I had to come to terms with the fact that I would have moderate myopia for life.  I only had to wait another 24 years for eyewear to come back into fashion! Friends always ask  me, why don’t you wear contacts? The simple truth of the matter is I can’t wear them, because I don’t like the thought of anything being placed directly onto my eyeball.  Who needs contacts when you have fabulous eyewear to complement your look.
